I broke my disc, hold out for GOTY

Post » Fri Apr 01, 2011 5:00 pm

Today I accidentally broke my F3 disc. I was tempted to go buy another copy but need to try and get an answer to a question first. When the GOTY edition is released will my save files for my original game work with the GOTY. I really hope so because I don't want to go out and buy a new copy of the game and still have to buy the DLC, when I could just buy the GOTY. Any mods or gamesas admins that could help clear this question up it would be great. By the way...the dlc should be released only when it's ready, us ps3 owners should be happy were getting it at all, not complaining that its been delayed.

Your saves will work with the GOTY edition.

As for your broken disk, if you have proof of purchase maybe you can get a new copy from Bethesda?

Thats great news. I don't think they'll replace my game just because its broken, I mean it's not like it got scratched up a little, I keep my games in a CD wallet when I go TDY for the Air Force and I kinda dropped my case and it got ran over by an airport taxi. F3 was at the front of the case (my favorite game) and was snapped in half as well as my copy of Arkham Asylum. Oh well, it happens. I just don't think they would replace it under the circumstances, especially when I bought it the day it was released. I don't have any proof of purchase anymore except maybe a EB Games computer system if they keep track of stuff from that long ago.

How does that in any way sound like I'm crying. I believe I said "Oh well, it happens". I didn't go asking to get it replaced, it was suggested by someone else. This was an advlt conversation until you decided to add your 2 cents. How about when your able to talk like an advlt, with some decent grammar and civilized tone, then you can come back and speak to me. Actually I have no rights governing a broken product, when the damage was caused by myself and not a result of a material or manufacturing deficiency.

I think that this is best closed as the question has been answered.
