crash site sniper tactics

hi all, most people think you cant snipe in this game but i have been sniping lately and not only having a good
K/D but WINNING. first off if you are not willing to take one for the team play deathmatch.

ok this is my class set up:
DSG-1 with suppressor
Hammer with extended magazine
Frag grenade

Proximity alarm (people will return for revenge)
Stealth enhance
Retriever

And for small maps add reflex sight and rapid fire.

The most important thing is map knowledge so learn where the crash pods will land and try to anticipate
where the next one will land if possible always take the high ground you should be able to see the crash site if not move. your job is to keep the enemy off the crash site.
I often find 2 or even 3 players from the other team begin hunting me this is very good as they cant
hunt me and capture pods when this happens use hit and run tactics destract them as long as possible
allowing your team mates to hold the crash sites. if your team is losing or the scores are close equip your side arm and rush those crash sites i find getting close 2 hammer shots and a melee often does the trick.

Other things to note are always go for headshots. de-cloak fire fire fire re-cloak reload.

This is just the way i have been playing and having some success hope this helps and remember all your moves should involve the objective dont give snipers a bad name.

Your team might still win yes but you will never be MVP in objective based modes if you snipe. I kinda see that it might be good to have a sniper in crash site but still it's mostly an annoyance. Kinda like CM in MOH. Too many snipers will kill any objective based mode.

Too late. Haven't met many snipers in any FPS who actually helped their team in objective based modes. Not refering to you specifically since I haven't played with you-

yes MVP is hard to get and most people rightly dislike snipers in objective modes but i try if i noticed my team had 2/3 snipers i would be the one changing to a smg. often your team mates dont notice the enemy player
fall to the ground behind them.

yes as I said I kinda see the point in having one sniper on the team sometimes. though it's not a necessity. if you're 6 players at the crashsite it's fully possible to guard it from every direction.
