Have you forgotten to save after a few hours?

Post » Thu Jul 30, 2009 8:18 pm

I have 10 hardsaves slot i cycle trough, plus one in the beginning just after th tutorial quest for quick restart wihotu having to re-do the face again. As in Oblivion i save everytime before i leave a town (in FCOM Oblivion also before entering a dungeon, you'll never know what you'll find in them :cold:).

No way. I save all the time. I have, like, 60 save files. I've gone back a couple hours when a quest didn't end up the way I wanted it too, but that was my own choice.

Yepp, all the time, then the game crash, then I got mad, restart the console, and happily playing it until it crash again.

And the cycle goes on and on :)

I dont save as much as I should, I rely too heavily on the autosave. It hasn't really bitten me in the butt yet, because New Vegas is pretty easy.

:whisper: no need to start a platform war. There is nothing wrong with consoles. The only problem here is about forgetting to save early and save often...A wise policy especially with Bethesda/Obsidian games :whistling:

I feel like an idiot and stupid. You would think after almost of 20 years of TES games, you rememeber Rule #1. Save, Save and Save some more. I hate when I do it. It means I get got up in the game and I forget. I hate repeating the same hour what I just did. Luckily it doesn't happen much, but sadly is still does happen from time to time, to time. :sadvaultboy: :brokencomputer: :banghead:

Of course it has happened, anyone who says this hasn't happened to them is full of it. All part of the game.

good immersion means i forget to save :)

You just reminded me to clean up my Saves folder. Let's see, my most recent save was #897 over two runthroughs. The problem is that I haven't overwritten or deleted enough saves, so I have about 200 sitting there. That's GACK not G.E.C.K. Deletion time!
