Really Crysis?

Post » Thu Aug 06, 2009 4:02 am

As I'm SURE most of you all know, Crysis was THE game for graphics and realism... and it still is...and so far the campaign is great... but what you did... is unforgiving... First of all, I'm a huge fan of AMD/ATI, so I use ATI graphics...if you don't like it oh well Im sure another game will come along that can beat you and offer me good support for MY graphics card... I don't care how much you got payed to make a game that looks as good as real life... if it just locks me out because of my graphics card choice... tough love coming from me hm? Also... GIVE ME MY TWEAK-ABLE SETTINGS BACK!!!! if games with horrible graphics like... PAC MAN have tweakable settings... how come the most advanced game on the market doesn't? Like me, currently my graphics card is... lacking... its about 5-6 years old and was only meh even for its time... now its garbage... BUT I have 16gb of RAM, a great motherboard and the best AMD CPU money can buy, so with that... stuff like physics I like to turn up as high as it goes because... although my graphics svck... some parts of video games ( physics being one of them) work off of the CPU and because my CPU is good but my graphics svck... without tweakable settings I have to sacrifice my overall gaming experience because my graphics card is holding me back.. when really I could get a little more out of it... So basically what me and the rest of your fan base is saying is... give us back our tweakable IN GAME SETTINGS... Please?

Agreed, I can run **** perfect, but still want the **** settings......

The gameplay also feels dumbed down for filthy console peasants.

Brother, I think you need a new graphics card, is it coming soon? Six years is long for any high tier game. Snag a 6850 and over clock it. As good as the 6870 w/o the added price. It'll run crysis just fine. No worries. That or go hard and snag a 5970 haha.

Good luck.

Well I didnt get offended personally(got a 6970) but it looks like as if this was the game he was most waiting for and when somebody suggest an idea that only does good to the game and i see another user come and put somewhat of a barrier to that idea only to somehow keep pride in the company. It kinda of pisses me off.

Sorry I offended you. Didn't mean too. But if you want to play any triple A release, Metro 2033, Lost Planet 2, CoD IV MW2, Crysis 2, Stalker etc. and you want to play with a decent frame rate (50+), you need a good video card, it's the nature of technology, it gets old and it doesn't keep up with current demand. If I could keep my rig for my life I would, but that's unrealistic, and no is a 6 year old graphics card playing Crysis 2. Again, sorry if I offended, you Aslator.
