I was just wondering if there was going to be a map editor for Crysis 2 in CONSOLE FORM? From what iv'e seen there is one but you have to make the maps on your pc then import them into your console.

Almost definitely not, unless there is a simplified version of the editor on the consoles. But, currently Crytek has not said anything about it so, probably not.

I don't think there is going to be a map editor for consoles mainly because of the complexity of actually working on the interface. The computer is the typical editor platform because of the keyboard-mouse design that makes navigation much easier that being forced to use the controller. I'm not sure at all but if there is a editor for the consoles, it will be very simple.

FarCry2 had a pretty good map editor for the consoles, not as extensive as PC but it worked good just the same. Are you nay sayers saying CryteK is not as good as Ubisoft and couldn't make one for console? I think they can if they can make an engine that can simultaneously edit and change in game graphics, structures, textures, and anything else in game on all 3 platforms at the same time in real time then I'm sure they can make an console map editor/maker if they really wanted to. Now will they do it? Who knows yet but I hope they do because it would prolong the life of the game.
