on the front side of camp maccarean there are a couple ants and there is a entrance there are no unique weapons or any good loot down there that place is pretty much useless

Number One: they're called Bloatflies, not Boatflys
Number Two: Those are not at all big and are, imo, one of the easiest things to kill in the whole game.

Easier to kill than Geckos? What game are you playing, what difficulty, are you playing as a sniper? Snipers get no say in what is difficult as they are too strong for their own good :P.

i am playing FNV. Not the GOTY edition or anything special like that. PS3 version. On regular difficulty. I can't snipe for [censored], so no, that's not the case either. I actually think I used the rebar to kill the ONE lakelurk i came across so..... apparently im like a god in the game? i think not.....
