Just reached level 39. I don't have an unlock yet...but what weapon should I choose when I do get an unlock?

Neither will seem to benefit you to any ability but I would go with the X43 Mike since the Gauss rifle is a bit buggy.

The Mike is awesome, and acts similarly to shotguns except for the fact it negates armour mode. Definitely worth the unlock point of you play run n gun.

stay away from the Gauss for now as i've yet to see someone that can make good use of it atm. on the other hand, i've seen quite a few people use mike very well, so i'd say mike.

The K Volt is not supposed to negate armour, it is supposed to drain energy. The MIKE completely ignores armour mode.

Let me tell you for me the Mike is probably my favorite weapon now. As a casual gamer my KD was .62 now after the Mike which I use almost exclusively and my KD has risen to .78 in like 4 days. So I really like the Mike, another advantage of it is it is uber quiet.

Haven't tried the Gauss, seen others use it but they usually go back to the DSG
