Love/Hate relationship

Hi guys this is my first post to the forum, im guna make an effort to not repost things that have already been posted and try to post topics that we can all relate to. First off let me start by saying i do enjoy playing this game but have noticed a few bugs that drive me to the point of frustrating. The game itself is well designed i feel most things are balanced and i have fun playing it online, the problems occur with the connections themselves. I'm sure many of you guys are having the same problems with the hit detection being extremely biased in your opponents favour, some games seem perfect and fairly balanced but others seem like an uphill struggle where a guy takes a full clip if not more to kill, sometimes a guy thats not even aware of your presence can turn around after receiving at least a full clip into his back and kill me in 1 or 2 shots, while were on the subject ive noticed that enemy kill cams portray the most unbelievable things ever to the point where i can only play a few games before i get so frustrated and turn the game off.

Also what is it with these new games recently homefront, black ops, crysis 2 i dont remember mw2 ever freezing my playstation many times over or having any problems with nat types, party joining issues or any connection issues. Has something changed with the ps3 since the anti hacking update or are games developers just becoming lazy in regards to the networking side of there games. Ive noticed that mw2 opens extra ports through my router as does battlefield, so why aren't these extra ports opened on newer games?

Hope i've pointed some things out in this discussion, i wont mention the other lists of bugs that need fixing with this game because everyone is well aware of them. I just feel that the connections and lag during this game is ruining my experience and i'd love to love this game but until this is sorted i think its back on the shelf gathering dust. Funny thing is my connection during the beta was perfect thats why i bought this game because i loved how it played and everything played smoothly.

Those 3 games you mentioned(not a 100% sure about Crysis 2) all have exclusives with microsoft. MW2 was made right around the time the deal was done so feel lucky.

I doubt Microsoft had anything to do with Crysis 2. If you guys aren't aware, EA is sleeping with Sony. Lately we been getting much more love from them than Microsoft has in the past few years. Sure Crysis has its share of issues but lets not forget that the game is near identical as the Xbox version. In the end, the lag, the freezing are all PS3 issues. PSN is not a very stable network. And since Sony doesn't have it's own servers for online play (which explains the free network) developers usually have to resort to 3rd party server companies such as Demonware which is owned by Activision.
