Need feedback on GTS 450 and 6 core processing.

I just purchased a new rig, not necessarily for Crysis 2, but I can only speculate that Crysis 2 makes a pretty good benchmark for games to come in the next couple of years.

Here's what I bought:

AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3.0GHz
Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H
8GB PC10600 DDR3 1333 Dual Channel
GeForce GTS 450 1GB

I'm hoping someone who knows computers far better than I do can shed some light on a couple of concerns... because this computer is paid for and shipping on monday, so I'm more than likely sticking with it no matter what.

Is 6 core even going to make a performance difference?
Can someone give me some feedback on the 450GTS?

I probably should have just grabbed the 460GTX, but it is what is and I grabbed the 450 GTS instead.

Can someone shed some light on these concerns, as far as bottom line performance.

Thanks.

well,6 core makes a difference in cpu-intensive apps, like folding or video editing, but not much for games, specially since is bottlenecked by your gpu.

and i would take the 560 TI,way more powerful than the 450...

450gts is a mainstream gaming card is the equivalent to the ati 5750,5770,but,it has more tessellation performance.

460 however is more like a 5850,but,again,more tessellation performance.

last but not least,i dont like the idea of an amd chipset + nvidia gpu, just because you cant do sli
