Where are the servers being held?

Well it wont matter if it is P2P or dedicated servers as you NEED servers for people to connect online and play.

So my question is, where are the servers located? Are they in Europe? possibly located Germany, United Kingdom, where exactly are the servers for Crysis 2 being held.

If they are in Europe, it would explain allot on how terrible the host selection is and how **** the europeans host online servers :)

Anyway, what i don't get is that If I play Halo, COD, or any other online game, and I have my computer turned on and have a few programs runnign that I WILL sustain a SOLID 3-4 bar easily, but when i come to Crysis and even if my PC is in sleep mode I am Red Bar and Seriosuly lagging? While everyone else is 2 bar - 3 bar.

So wanna explain how the online works Crytek?

Don't worry. Us europeans are getting **** connections half the time as well. They should've included the option to choose your match-making proximity (to borrow from CoD: Any, Local, Local only). Right now it seems like it's making lobbies nearly randomly, throwing together people from all over the world into the same lobby. It's no wonder if you got a couple from america a few from europe and some from australasia in the same lobby that then you get red bars.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't come out with dedicated servers. Usually EA provides that much. Guess they didn't figure that people might actually really want to play this game online on consoles. It's a bit sad, but the match-making really is the weakest part of the game at least for me at the moment.
