Come on PS3 Community...

I am a fairly regular FPS player, though usually online (MW, MW2, BlackOps, Killzone 3). I am super surprised to see so many negative comments about this game. I have only played the single player campaign minimally and only rarely run into any freezes, disconnects, or issues with parties loading. Of 200-ish games I have played there have maybe been 5 instances all told. I find the in-game graphics and experience really enjoyable. Its smooth, and the graphics are gorgeous. I don't know much about the graphic aspect, but it does come in at 1080p (whether that's native or not, I don't know). Are people really having that many issues? Of the 10 or so friends I game with regularly no one is having issues.

On a side note: I am colorblind, so I would love to have the option to change reticle color ala BlkOps. Also the radar map in the bottom left is occasional to light and hard to see, though that may be a colorblind issue again.

i agree with everything the poster said. I too am in love with FPS and have played so many of them. The only time i had problems was during the demo mostly but since the game released i have had only a handful of issues, too few to really care. Although when you first join someones squad you cant talk till you guys get in the pre-game lobby but like i said its almost not even an issue. I never played the first crysis but now it looks like i might have to change that.

Well, the post from Rampage Jackson lost me due to run-on sentences, no capitalization and over-use of profanity...

Although there is obviously a fair share of issues for Crytek and EA to address, I'd like to join the others that are NOT having problems at all.
I've played about 350 online matches and played throught the campaign twice.

Once, the people on my team found this one dude who simply would not die (probably a douchebag hacker) and twice, I saw a cloaked player whose gun was NOT cloaked. Oh yeah, one time I could not connect to the host.

Otherwise, smooth gameplay, no laggy games and good synchronization.

Rampage- As I said in the original post, I have not played much of the SP campaign (maybe 30 minutes). So I truthfully can't speak to that. As for you comments that this MP is only playable for a couple of games, I disagree strongly. In fact, with the unlock system and difficulty at leveling up it takes a lot of time to really get your builds.

As for the lag issue, I have had very infrequent minor (so minor that I really don't care) issues. The one thing I can say is that you can't blame EA/Crytek for the lack of servers. This game (as in all CoD games) is hosted on individual machines, though the matchmaking is done via a server. One thing that can SEEM like lag (but is not lag) is the damage you do to any enemy. Crysis 2 (and this is from my experience only) really seems to favor high torso and head shots. You can unload a clip into the body of someone and they may kill you with 1 or 2 well placed bullets. Lower torso and other body parts really don't do much damage it seems.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a bad go of it. BUT sitting on the forums and continually posting about how you hate a game doesn't seem the most constructive use of your time. If you feel the need to flame, then do it, get it out, and move on.
