All the versions are buggy ;) but for me atleast the game is not buggy anymore and I think it's a lot better now, occasional bug maybe. For some people there seem to be quite a lot of bugs. Roll the dice, buy it and hope it isn't buggy :P

PC just gets more option. Xbox version is possibly the most unstable version out of all three.

It's still a little buggy, the main problem being random being random crashes. In my experience these tend to come in batches and always just after an loading screen that returns me to the wasteland. They're easily got over by re-entering the door I've just exited, leaving again and following a slightly different path. They're not enough to make the game unplayable and are just a minor annoyance at worst. The other thing that can happen is getting stuck in the landscape, inside a rock or whatever, that's solved by opening the console, turning off collision (tcl command) moving and then turning it on again.

I don't think the game is any worse than many others I've played.

From what ive read on these forums the PC version seems to be not too bad. The PS3 version freezes constantly the longer you play it. Ive seen people on this forum complain they cant finish the last mission for the game freezing. You can buy it now for £18 now so its worth it.

Got mine day of release and only problem I had was I lost ED-E but that was my fault he was waiting in the lobby of the Lucky 38 after I went and seen House.

Aside from that the only major issue I had on my pc version is the once in a blue moon freeze up that results in a crash to desktop. I did how every the other day experiance a total lock up where the game froze, audio played through normally (not looping like typical freeze fashion) and I had to Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up the program menu to end the program.

Sometimes it flakes out, but overall I've never had as much trouble with F:NV as popular hysteria suggests.

Something to consider: When F:NV on the PC does flake out, you have The Console (choir of angels singing) which is capable of fixing lots of things.

Plus you get better graphics, better controls, mods, etc.

In almost 200 hours of playing on the PC, I have had 3 CTDs during the game, two freezes during the game, and one freeze when launching the game. I have played almost all the way through on the original release, and never came across a game altering bug that could not be fixed by reloading an earlier save (this is normal for a sandbox game on the Gamebryo engine). However even a completely bug free game will require this on rare occasions.

Since the patches, I have not encountered any game altering bugs.

Even if it's slightly buggier on PC, the degree to which mods enhance the game makes it so worth it.

Modded FO3 or FONV blows the console equivalent out of the water, there's simply no comparison. That's not a statement against consoles, it's just a fact; look at FO3's FWE, MMM and EVE for an example.

I bought the pc version on day1 and I have and still have problems.Since the last patch it will just stop working sometimes and crash to dektop. As long as you save often it's not too bad.I am 130 hours on my first playthroug hand and I always hated the bugs with this game the game is worth $50. bugs and all.I've had alot of fun with it.

By all accounts the PC version is actually the most stable or, at least, that's what many reviews seem to indicate.

Myself, PC version, I've encountered a few CTDs and a couple of breakable (not broken per se but can be by taking certain actions) quests.

One plus to the PC version that's rarely mentioned is quicksaving is easy (not sure console versions even have quicksaves but could be wrong).

Making normal saves regularly, along with autosave when entering new areas plus frequent quicksaves means I've never lost more than a few minutes progress after CTDs.
