Ive been playing MP for a few weeks and not many people seem to use slide all that much. I remember getting owned with that tactic once or twice allowing people to get around me in close quarters. But not very often and i was thinking of assigned the "crouch" control to a mouse button so that I can execute it more often. But it doesn't seem worth it.

I would have to disagree with your views. The power slide if extremely useful. Use it to quickly escape enemiy fire, suprise attack and much more. I am one of the most frequent users of the power slide.

I am with you on the power slide can be very handy for the reasons you mentioned.

I agree its very effective if used correctly it sounds like to me that you try to use it too often I suggest you try to regulate How often you use it.

It's also great for retrieving dog tags, if you don't have 'Retriever' on.
