I used to play lots of strategy games but I got into FPS games and left them on the shelf to collect dust. I decided to go back to strategy till Crysis 2 but I want to get a new strategy game. So......

TOTAL WAR: SHOGUN 2 OR STARCRAFT 2?

Medieval 2 Total War + Kingdoms expansion. I absolutely love that game! If you already have it, buy Starcraft 2. I never before liked Starcraft style of stragedy games (Too frantic to me), but I liked Starcraft 2 when I tried demo

I like Starcraft, but theres too much cheese so I don't play ladder anymore. Now I just play gold-masters level players in custom. Medieval 2 total war was absolutely incredible. I love that game so much. Too bad they ruined it with Empire Total War -_-

I'm exactly the same but want to get back in to them. I used to play a lot of the Lord of the Rings RTS games and Rome Total War.

If you are an SP player get Red Alert 3 uprising.

100 hours of sp fun with the campaigns, skirmishes and the 50 missions long commanders challenge and you can find the game for around 5 bucks today.
