The Legion's views on mutants?

Post » Sat Sep 19, 2009 7:21 pm

Well of course, I believe so too, I think it's wrong that anyone is bigot against ghouls.
Ghouls are basically small libraries with legs, and can be used for radioactive areas.
Only reason I could find is that they do look pretty nasty, but once you get past the looks and the smell I don't see why anyone would hate them.
So if NCR is a bit discriminating only more subtle with it then it's still wrong IMO too.

Well there not That much discrimntating to at least let ghouls into the army. they are smart to do so. With there supior knowlege and experiance.

Yup, just wish they'd be as accepting of super mutants.
I can understand their reason for not accepting Nightkin, they're off their rockers.
But Super Mutants? They are the "it" when it comes to heavy weapon specialists and close combat brutes.
Too bad so many are so into the "pure race" crap in Fallout...

Legion is trying to conquer the west coast and are now at the Mojave, if House would allow for Legion to take Vegas then I'm sure they wouldn't do him much harm.
snip

House would never go down that road and if he might the Legion would totally want him gone, Caesar wants NV for himself.

Yah but i dont see the super mutants in there army. Considering they would have a hard time training them to obey orders because they wouldnt want to take orders from humans. Also i think they would sometime go to far and maybe kill some of there own team. They are just to unprediactable to put in a army unless its filled the same kind like them.

Nah, super mutants aren't like the ones in FO3, in the west coast they can integrate into human society and live alongside them. (Broken Hills & Super Mutant Ranger, FO2)
They aren't all "stupid" some of them are just as normal as regular humans in intelligence, but unless someone gives them a chance the hate is just going to grow on both sides.

IIRC there was actually going to be super mutant ranger, but he was cut from the game.

Imma jump off the Legion-hate train for a moment here.

3rd in command is Lucius, and he is the only high ranking Legionnaire with no bad karma. Chances are he will be fairer then most.

Lucius...heh. He won't last long at all as Emperor of that crew of sociopaths. The minute Caesar and Lanius are gone the CL will be eating each other. Quite literally, if you look in Aurelius's fridge.

IIRC they stuffed all ghoul rangers near Cottonwood cove to keep them away.

I figured that the ghouls were deployed to Ranger Station Echo because it's surrounded by radioactive craters. Taking advantage of their immunity to radiation and all that.

Then of course once the Ranger Veterans show up, there's plenty of ghouls wandering Camp Golf, though it's not immediately obvious with that full-body armour.

I went to The Fort yesterday with Raul and I had no bad comments about him, will check around some more later if they comment on him or not.

1. True.

2. Desert Rangers? Well I don't really consider them to have been part of NCR before so maybe they have different views on who can join the (now) Veteran Rangers.
Too bad there is way too little info about Desert Rangers.
