Am I alone?

Online has been running fine for the most part, I host 1 in 3 games and only had a few issues with lag but recently my system has been freezing on the red connection screen before the loading screen and it seems to be happening more frequently. I have a release day PS3 which I clean regularly with my Dyson and it never get warm let alone hot so I can only assume it's a problem with the game, am I alone?

Usually it freezes when there is some thing wrong with the connection to the servers.

So I don′t think it′s the actual console.

I have had this issue with other games when I played online and I know it′s a very common problem.

You should complain about this and maybe it will be fixed in the next upcoming patch.

Good luck. ;)

My ps3 has only frozen once while playing this game. Its a new 120 gig. I'm totally surprised if you have a launch ps3 and it is still kicking, I bought the 80 gig the week it came out and it only lasted me 2 years. If you're freezing all the time now it might be time to spring for a new one dude.

Thinking about it now it seems to happen more often when the servers would be busy, it happened twice last weekend too. I refuse to believe my PS3 will ever die, why would say such cruel things?

Well, i've tried that once at first i'd thought "Oh ****, maybe it's time to let go of the old Launch PS3 generation" until I found out that my parents were trying to fix our router after that incident i haven't frozen one time since. It's running smooth. Great game! (:

I am starting to think it′s the EA servers that are not working in different games.

Because in games that the EA servers are running for example Bad Company 2 I have experienced the freezing problem.

Even my Friend has Dead Space 2 witch also the EA servers are running has also got the same problem.

Or all of this could just be a coincidence?

You're probably right. I also own Dead Space 2 and Bad Company 2 for PS3 and they are freezing sometimes. But it's not... like for days, you know. But it's pretty annoying when it happens. But yeah, I also think it's the EA Servers that aren't working properly...

But hey, don't every type of game servers have problems?
