The disconcerning limitations of the Nanosuit, and what Crys

Post » Mon Sep 28, 2009 12:40 am

Why can't they just keep the old nanosuit settings and for once don't leave an energy bar for limitations of the suit.

Aren't any of you bugged when you use strength, speed, stealth or armor mode and BANG!! your almost dead, does it really need an energy bar to limit itself. The Trailers from the first crysis showed how there were no limitations in nanosuit capabilities, then when you played. Ouch!!! Can't they just let us use the nanosuit at full max abilities without the energy bar???

Because of this limitation, many gamers, fans and gaming clubs are disappointed, (and even in some cases start cursing). Because of dying right when theyre enjoying the beauty of crysis interactivity and combat!!! Always shouting I'M DEAD!!!

Certainly a valid concern. I had a lot of fun with tweaking files for 4x the energy for every suit mode. Cloak around, make a mad dash and tackle Koreans silly with the occasional strength jump into armor for an aerial kinetic firefight for the badass factor. All without using up the entire energy bar.

For me, modifying the nanosuit made Crysis 4x more fun, at bare minimum.

That was me being rude for a moment. But what most people did was sync the suit functions into a combo, can be tricky at first but it did pay off if you mastered speed and armor together, epically online. But what I've noticed about Crysis it's not a stand and shoot game I found the best results with fast movements. I can understand how you feel about how you find it annoying.

Sadly, when I put up a video of nanosuit fun, people called it cheating in single player...

Eh when you chain functions people always say your a hacker even online. Perfect example is Vader on the bros server insane player but people think he is a hacker.

I think the energy bar must remain, sometimes it adds some restrictions that make the game more interesting and challenging.

So you want the player to be able to be invincible? (if they just stayed in permanent armor mode) What would be the fun in that?

The Nanosuit 2 needs limitations.

I cant see any long term fun in speed running 500 feet across wallstreet.

The fun of the Nanosuit was being versatile and efficient with it, toying with the enemy even though you knew you were only 10% better than them.

I dont see any fun in an invincisuit. You can mod yourself an invincisuit, but Crysis 2 isnt going to sell well with invincible super man powers.
