When I first got this game and looked through the cooking menu for survival, I was amazed at what all the devs had thought of. I squee'd slightly when I made a desert salad, and it was actually a salad. But I stopped there for a long time, and only recently began decorating my lucky 38 suite with unique items i've collected, my pile of gold from the Sierra Madre, and filling my kitchen/dining room with cooked foodstuffs. But now, I am dissapointed. I recently noticed while cooking there were 2 recipes I wanted to try, "Cook cooks fiend stew" and "Molerat stew". I told myself, "Every other food item i've laid out here looks amazing, these surely will to!" nooope. Cook cooks stew, and the molerat stew both look like a raw piece of molerat meat when cooked. Normally this isn't something i'd complain about, but this seems to be just plain laziness. All the work on the amazing new unique weapons and other objects you could use to decorate everything, and it seems everyone skimps out when it comes to the food. Was there a problem with the images? Could they not get the items to work properly? Or did they think noone would ever notice and be bummed out about it? I have to say, out of everything i've seen people complain about in this game, this has to be my only complaint.

Meh, I did too about the Grimy Suit, but it's all good now...

not really complaining about a coding error, i'm more or less ranting/babbling about things not looking like they should. You don't label something as stew when it looks like a slab of jerky unless it's stew flavored jerky.

I was also disappointed about the cactus water being purified water. I spent quite a while gathering up all the stuff to make tons of cactus waters to decorate with but in the end it was a big let down. At least the salad looks awesome and alot of the unique stuff you can make is actually unique and looks like it should.

I agree with you though, I wish the stews had been done right.
