I've always found it slightly irritating that the only time you can see perk requirements is every other level up (at least if like me you've mislaid the game manual :blush2:), as without that information good character planning can be rather tricky. And then it hit me: wouldn't it be a good idea to have an in-game encyclopedia, like the Civilopedia you get in the Civ games. It'd have stuff like perks and their requirements, game mechanics, weapon stats, enemy stats, that sort of thing. And maybe lore stuff as well, histories, timelines, etc. and so on.
Isn't that a good idea? RPG manuals are much less informative than they were two decades or so ago, stuff that used to be in the manual is now only found in the Prima guide or on the wiki. I think this is a shame, but accept that the days of telephone-directory sized manuals aren't coming back. But wouldn't it be nice to have this information available in-game, where you need it most? I think so.
