What's your top weapon? : Fallout: New Vegas

My light machine gun with extended magazines, I pried it from the mother death claw's den after a day and a half of in game time spent hiding on the conveyers with boone and my own hunting rifle at level 8, haven't put it down sinse. thank god for an abundance of 5mm ammo and reloader benches

Ratslayer at high skill, critperks, sneak and luck, combined with no Boone (equals no spotter perk) and dark nights/skies is a traveling winner for me especially on low strength characters. 5.56 is easy to find or create, have low weight, and is nicely used on a light machine gun when things turn ugly. I don't *need* to move fast or shoot accurately when things get that ugly

So, nobody else likes the Ratslayer?

Not a kick ass weapon, but damned versatile especially in the darker conditions (using mods).

The Automatic Rifle (I call it the Browning) is my new baby.

And to those who who didn't get the DLC, allow me to explain: 370 DPS, 60 Damage, Fully Automatic, 20 rounds a mag. The rest of the stats are pretty poor, but they honestly don't matter because of... that.

At this moment I'm using This Machine for distant enemy picking. .308 rounds are rather easy to find and the rifle is very durable. With Jury Rigging perk I keep it repaired with other rifles I scavenge. In case things get ugly, I have Oh, Baby! at hand.

If at some point I find even a better weapon, I start using it instead. I sell all weapons which are not in the categories Guns and Melee Weapons.

Annabelle, Euclid's C-Finder, Tesla-Beaton Prototype, Minigun or Mercy it changes regularly the way i see it is if im going to kill someone i want it to be as much over kill as possible

Knock-Knock.

It's not the strongest, not even in the two-handed melee categorie, but it's soooo bad ass!
Whenever I play a slightly psychotic maniac character it's my weapon of choice :-)

Pretty boring but I like my Laser Rifle with added scope.

Don't tend to experiment with weaponry too much. Possibly why I DIE a lot.

kills things quickly, and its good at pretty much all ranges except very far.

Knock knock, I use this weapon for everything but robots and turrets. I laugh every time I take a deatclaw down with it. I've cleaned out quarry junction with just it and some slasher... and arcade for a distracton
