Any way to walk normally when not using weapons?

Hi. I checked the forum but did not find this answer. Any help would be appreciated. I just loaded up New Vegas for the first time, and have just stepped out into the world. In 3rd person view, I was walking normally, upright. I then loaded up a weapon (pistol) to check it out, but when I used the Pip-Boy to holster the weapon, I discovered that I am no longer walking normally. Instead, I am now in a slight crouch with my fists up in front of me, walking at a slight angle (prepared to fight or melee). I don't want to walk around the countryside walking like that for the rest of the game.

Is there any way to return my character to a normal walking or running stance with my arms at my side, when I am not using a weapon? I've tried every key and can't seem to find one that will do that.

Thanks

You're could be in sneak mode

I recommend referencing an instruction manual for PC to see what key toggles this mode on/off

Either that or your fists are "equipped". I recommend holstering them (as silly as that sounds)

No, he has equipped his fist, hold the reload button/key to holster or draw weapons, the pip boy is equip/unequip.

Yeah, what Mako said, you have not actually holstered your weapon, you have simply unequipped it, thereby automatically "equipping" your fists.

On the PC, hold R to holster a weapon and tap it to holster fists.
