yes , you have to pick up killstreaks everytime you kill an enemy.
if you wanna get them like in cod , you have to unlock a special class after level 15 or something like that.

Yes, you have to pick up the dog tags that your killed enemies drop in order to earn your "support bonuses"/ killstreaks. They are awarded at 3, 5 & 7 dog tags. You have to pick up all 3, 5 or 7 of them in the same life to get the support bonus.

If you die, the dog tags will stay on the battelfield for a bit so you still have a chance to collect them but the counter will start back at 0 with each life.

There is a power module called "Retriever" that will automatically pick them up, but you have to earn that after you level up some.

Yes, you must pick up each dog tag after each kill. The dog tags is what you use for killstreaks. Keep in mind if you kill someone, and are killed before you can pick up his tags. They will still be there if you go back. There is also a retreiver module you can unlock later in the game. This automatically collects the dog tags as you make kills.

To earn your killstreak and your killstreak reward you have to collect the dog tag that falls down when you kill an enemy. Later on, you unlock a PERK (not class) that automatically retrieves the dog tags so you won't have to expose yourself by running around collecting dog tags.

I believe they added this to reduce camping... of course they added a perk where you don't have to run and pick up dog tags... well whether they did it to reduce camping or not it's not a bad idea to combat it in future games. Cause god knows their will be 500 more fps online shooters with killstreaks out in the near future.
