Of course they have made new weapons. You can see them from the trailers...

Ya in every trailer you see new weapons. So far I've seen a AR called Scarab, shotgun called Jackal, a one shot rocket launcher, a new grenade launcher and I've also seen the Scar in some videos with a new look.

didnt you watch all the trailers, demos and pre-E3 GTTV gameplay footage?
theres a new shotgun, 2 new assault rifles, 2 new rocket launchers, a sticky-grenade launcher and the pistol and sniper LOOK different too.

I really like the nice assortment of weapons we've seen in all the videos. Crysis one had some nice ones, but just noit enough in my opinion. I'm glad Crytek added a lot more.

I prefer the look of the original scar

There should be both the scarab and the scar. The more weapons the better! Especially since Crysis lackes in that area of content. :'(

There definitely need to be good snipers there.
Imagine what a cloaked sniper could do when there are structures all around.
