Anyone else find it does absolutely nothing?

It reduces the recoil when you're being fired at, there's also a percentage (which I read somewhere but can't remember) of the damage which gets shielded by the armour.

I think it was along the lines of if you have it on and take 30 damage, only 19 of that will be of your health (could be wrong on the figures) while the rest will be dissipated into to your energy meter.

Of course if they are aiming for your head it really won't help you from getting owned but it at least gives you a chance to react and shoot them back ^^

i think its kinda bugged, theres been times when im one to one with a guy i have max armour and he doesnt, i empty a full clip into him and he still kills me. Could be lag related or a delay before the armour actually kicks in

well it depends on how you use it , every bullet against you , will drain energy.

so when you are almost out of energy , it will indeed have NO effect.

when you have full energy , it will drain all the energy and THEN go on with ur own health.

that s how it works.

so armor enhance should be good for you , but i prefer energy transfer.

Yeah i know how the armour works, what im saying is even when im at full energy turn the armour on and come up against a guy thats running around in stealth with less energy, he still manages to kill me after i empty a clip into his head. It just doesn't work sometimes, other times ill have max armour on and take out 2 or 3 guys when there all shooting at me im telling you its bugged or effected by lag

FOr me the max armor just gives you a boost and like it doubles the armor that you have, it also gives you infinite energy for a span of time. But I think the ceph gunship is better.

i dont mean the support bonus i men the actual armour by tapping l2

35% of the damage is absorbed by your suit armor..

your armor doesnt deplete completely before your health starts taking a hit.. if you go into armor, it absorbs part of the damage, so you will die even if you have energy left..

I guess it does not seem to do much but when you play online it′s a pain in the a** when trying to kill someone.

In singleplayer it kinda helps when fighting against the cephs.

And the armour also reduces damage when falling to the ground.

That′s pretty much all it does.

i find it very helpful when I'm near death and i trigger it it works almost flawlessly sometimes i trigger it to late and im getting blasted and i die
