Problems with this site

Hi

A lot of problems have been popping up with this site over the course of the last two weeks or so.

Lets start with the most important one, for me. Using Google Chrome, if a post includes an image that is wider than the allocated width of the post area, the text of the post stretches out of the post area in such a fashion that the text that is stretching out, cannot be seen.

Secondly, PM counter. But before I go into that, the PM that I most recently got is outright spam. You're probably thinking, well, I should report this spam. Woah, woah, hold your horses! This spam is, in fact, from an admin! That's right. An admin that goes by the name of "sysadmin" is spamming our Private Messages inbox. Please, do not do this in the future. As for the counter itself... Well, the counter fails to update on the front page. I believe this issue has already been brought up before.

Moving on... Log in issues. Sometimes, seemingly randomly, I get logged out of the site. Yet when I return to the home page, it says I'm logged in. Going back to the forum page, I see the button to log in or register. OK, so I could just log in, right? No such luck. Attempting such a thing will say that your password and/or username/email is wrong. But well, it isn't.

To get around this, one would have to clear their cookies and log in once again. Surprise, surprise this time, it accepts your username and password. Imagine that!

Now, lets put all that aside for a moment and lets go back in time a bit. The site was updated somewhat recently. While yes, the layout itself might have been improved somewhat, the design (the visual elements, etc.) have been heavily degraded. It just looks worse. I'm a web designer myself and I can tell you that this design has been done by a very lazy designer and lets be honest here, the theme of this site allows for an unthinkable amount of creativity. It's in fact begging for something ridiculously awesome. Yet, we have... Well, this. I do hope the design itself gets improved by the time the game is released, but still. Come on!

If the design was made by the same guy who did the new Crytek website, I would like to request that he put the same amount of effort (if not even more) into making a new design for this site.

From purely a technical standpoint, this site looks like it was very cheaply done. But why?

Anyhow, please fix the aforementioned bugs.

Thanks
Iceman
