Im taking my buisness elswere EA.

Im officially done with Crysis 2. I have waited in the hopes that EA might release a patch and the multiplayer would be fixed. After the intial excitement of seeing the patch release today, I was sorely dissapointed. Upon playing the game, I was horribly let down to see that the NAT type was still moderate and that after a few games I can say that the following is not fixed: the menu selection continues to scroll an additional option past the one I want to select (i.e. I press down once and it moves two[i] options down, there are no additional control schemes..... You know what? Im not even going to keep listing problems; this forum is already full of them. If someone from EA is reading this and wants to know what my gripe is, just look at any one of the dozens of recent posts and I agree whole-heartedly with them.

Crysis 2 is a game with a beatiful singleplayer campaign, and a marvelous concept. I bought a new PC just to be able to play Crysis one, and was ecstatic over the sequal. If you just let the game be single player only, you would not be reading this. However, you chose to include a multiplayer aspect and by doing so have dangled a golden carrot infront us ignorant mules. Your shiny packaging may fool and hypnotize others, but there are many that see through your tricks and wish that you had not even bothered trying to place such an awsome concept in a multiplayer format because you have failed horribly at it. The reason for this paragraph is to illustrate that the single player portion of the game is top notch, but the multiplayer is a failed experiment. The Battlefield franchise is known by all as a multiplayer giant, and I hope for the rest of your loyal customers that you do not repeat your errors on Crysis in this game as well.

I was [i]very
excited for Battlefield 3, but after seeing and experiencing the level of care that EA gives to its customers, Im not even going to bother with it. It's just sloppy and poor customer service to ignore most of the major complaints of your community of customers and consumers. I know I made a mistake by buying your product, Crysis 2, and that by doing so my point/rant here is most likely to fall on unapathetic ears. After all, you have gotten your money from me and others, and patches dont make money. I hope others read this and are inspired to erase you from their minds as a reputable and quality video game manufacturer. It won't happen overnight, but it is inevitable that your buisness will fail and fall into obscurity if you continue down this road of selfish and poor buisness practice.

Listen all: EA does not bother with dedicated servers or making sure their final product is free of errors. These are two tennents of good buisness practice within the gaming community. With all the money that this company makes (you can look up their earnings report, its public knowledge) you would hope they gave one ounce of timely and fair effort (what is the deal with xbox getting the game and patch first? they didnt give you millions of dollars for that right did they, because you would have a dedicated server, right?) in trying to assuage thier customer's complaints. Sadly, as they have proven with this game, they do not. Tonight was the last night that your faulty product frustrates me, and tomorrow im trading it in for money to buy books for my next semester's classes.
