Anyone else getting +1 exp every few seconds for no apparent reason while inside the Nevada Highway Patrol Station?

Lol, unrelated, but after fast travelling to Primm one time I had a bloatfly spawn in the middle of town. I shot it and got +50 XP...

It must have been the fabled Legendary Bloatfly.

:D There were a lot of mantis in there but I killed them all (well ED-E did while I was rumaging through some desks in the other room). I even fast traveled back to Goodsprings and stowed some gear in the dumpsters at the general store then came back and still get +1 exp ever few seconds (kinda random) while inside the Station. Maybe the spirits there are happy with me or like my sunglasses or something...

I have found that when killing multiple enemies, it can take a minute or two for all the kills to register, or at least display the exp points. It could be that ED-E killed several of these things and it took a while for the points to show up. However, they should have shown up even when you were in Good Springs. Maybe they only show up while in the cell.

I am sure the game has already tallied the points, it is the display of them that takes a while.

Yeah, particularly in the early stages of the game (for me anyway) there's this huge delay/lag between action and those little messages. Always fun to see "Plant added to inventory" 5 minutes after you picked it. And if you killed lots of stuff, the delay gets even weirder. The longer you play the shorter the delay seems to become (again, for me at least) until it's almost real-time. No clue why.

I had something weirder happen. During Bleed Me Dry, when I was sent to gather Mantis eggs, I would get +20XP for every Mantis I looted, and the Mantis corpse would get beheaded after being looted. It actually continued to happen for a while after I delivered the Mantis eggs and moved on in the quest.

Actually that's what I thought at first, but even now hours later it's still happening. Only when I go to the Nevada Highway Patrol Station though (which I was using as a "house" for a while). If I stand still it stops but as soon as I start moving around every few seconds I get the little exp sound and the +1 Exp message. Very wierd...
