So one day before entering REPCONN I decided to get the pulse gun so I wouldn't have to waste time hacking all of the terminals. Upon Vault 34 with ED-E and Veronica, I proceeded to the armory. I took all the loot and headed back outside, only to realize that ED-E was gone! He was marked on the world map as being right on the marker for Vault 34, but extensive searching inside and out was of no use. I tried fast traveling, waiting, sleeping, and he has yet to come back. What should I do?

Someone please help me...

well he's gotta be in there somewhere. Use the local map when inside the vault to make it easier if you're not already.

that happend to me and i never found him, ive herd that some times when ed-e dies that it dosent inform you that hes dead and the game still thinks hes in your group so maybe thats whats happend

Maybe...because I still have his perk and everything. I really wish I had those items back though...and I have used the local map on every level of the vault and he's not there.

go to vault 22 and use the elevator

Are you on hardcoe? Maybe he be dead.
If not... just keep looking.

If you're still inside the Vault, try going outside, checking for ED-E, then fast-travelling and checking again.

I've had it happen with Cass once; left her waiting outside of the Van Graffs, came outside and she was gone. I even checked out the Atomic Wrangler, thinking that she may have gone inside for a beer, but no such luck. Had to reload to an earlier save in tne end.

I've had the same problem with Ed-E in Vault 22. The map still tells me he's there, and I've tried all of the searching, elevator riding and waiting that I could tolerate, but I've now written him off as a lost cause. I know this doesn't help you, but you are certainly not alone. It's just another bug in a sea of bugs.
