Energy Transfer OP +solution

Even without upgrades Energy Transfer is useful. II is extremely powerful, and III is just too much. I think if you halved the amount of energy received by each level, it would stop the "shoot from cloak - kill - 100% energy - cloak" players and balance what seems to be a "top tier" config >

1. Energy Transfer III
2. Mobility Enhance III
3. Stealth Enhance III

I know people will whine, but even 50% is a lot of energy to receive and brings it in line with the other armor modules.

Its Energy Transfer, not Nano Recharge.

The man got the module name wrong, but he got the problem bang on.

The exact set-up I swear by too.
Gaining ANY amount of energy back after a kill while cloaked is useful, let alone 100%.

Add to that the ability to run around cloaked for an obscene amount of time with Stealth Enhance III and Mobility Enhance III and it's just insane.

Scarab + Silencer & Extended Mags
Your pistol of choice (I go for Nova + Silencer)
Grenades / C4 depending on preference.

Energy Transer III
Stealth Enhance III
Mobility Enhance III

= win

They already did this.
And as far as I know its not worked to stop that combo. What needs to be done is Cloaker tracker puts an outline around the cloak enemy similar to the one on you and your ally's. in say a limited range say 30 meters. Add that with proxy alarm and BAM the combo is dead in the water. Plus Nanovison should get a buff too 40 meters out so that everyone as a basic counter to the problem.

I had that combo shortly before my first reboot and i gotta admit it was stupidly easy to get alot of kills with, so much so that i was always being called a hacker/glitcher because of it.

But just because it was easy to get kills with doesnt mean is it as OP as your making it out to be, even if the player can run around with cloak all day there are ways to get around it like nano vision and keen eye sight.

no matter how well cloaked they are they are not 100% invisable:

* they make noise when they move
* they show up on radar
* they go down super quick if you get the drop on them
* they are easily visable with nano vision
* if they cant kill their target when they come out of decloak there pretty much screwed
* they can be spotted with a good eye

I mean there are alot of ways to get around that combo but even if there wasnt and even if crytech actually did do something someone else would just come up with another combo thats just as OP.

Right now im working on my own combo of:

nano recharge Lv 2
Blind spot lv 2
retriver lv 3

and its working out just as well since i never show up on radar and my energy hardy ever goes down for long, only problem is level nano recharge (dam that thing is a btch to do)

I know it isn't the be-all-end-all set up, but for raw effectiveness I think there are few better.

I also use :

Nano Recharge II
Blind Spot II
Rapid Fire III

Which I find equally effective (In fact including Blind Spot on any class of choice is effective if used correctly). But for me it was Energy Transfer that just helped me to improve no end, almost never being left depleted of energy is hard to overstate.
