More Faction power.

It would've been cool if you could gain a good enough status in a faction to become its leader in New Vegas. A Brotherhood Elder, A NCR President, A Legion Legate (seeing how Caesar is a one of a kind title legate seems more fitting), Leader of the Mormons, The king, ect.... It'd also be cool if they had unique missions that could make that faction the strongest and most well populated in the Mojave by knocking out the competition with their unique leadership story line missions. Useing the one man army the "courier" / "New leader" as the Ultimate war machine you could raise your favorite faction to the top.

Why?, Lore wise the story runs over the course of 3-5 weeks, and even that may be pushing it. That said, as long as I'm respected and hailed a hero by the factions I like, I dont care if Im not it's leader. Friend of all, aligned with none.

I prefer the NCR or Brotherhood I think being the leader would be cool. A type of Rags to Riches story lol. I just think you should be able to be more then just a "friend". Not to mention the sort of perks you would gain as leader. Like a free pass at everything in a factions store.

Wait what? I can get rich just by giving Jane 6-7 snowglobes, and gambling. Believe me, caps flow like Lake mead in New Vegas.

Why? If I was NCR military, I'd have to listen to their orders, and their military isnt exactly organized. Caesars Legion is backwards ludite thinking, House pretty much would leave you alone when he doesnt have a task for you, the Brotherhood are a bunch of tech obsessed cultists. Or to put it in short, I'm fine sticking to being a guy who's liked by the people I choose. Fallout's not supposed to be about becoming the leader of everything, just survival.

It would be cool to assemble your own gang, run Lucky 38 and actually take over Vegas yourself instead of the Yesman/Anarchy. Otherwise, it just isn't how Fallout works.

Well the Legion does put your face on their currency, so I guess a promotion isn't out of the question further down the road.

That would be nice if we could.

Nah, if anything, there should be joinable factions and content when you join them. Not "Oh you're a Paladin now. Here's some power armor. Have fun."
