I disagree whit this, because i don't find the game fun if had to manage thirst hunger and all the other stuff.
I think more option are always good but only if they are developt good.
Ah, but I disagree with the notion of designing software to bend over backwards for user preference... If I try a game and don't like it, I just look for another game; (IMO that's how it should be). Its just poor game design [IMO] to make
"everything" optional for sake of player appeasemant.
If an area in the game were designed with a player condition in mind, for example thirst, and that area restricts water & beverages for gameplay reasons, but a player does not want to bother with ~the mechanics of the game... Then the reason for the restriction is made moot, and the area might have to be altered or the challenge made pointless, for supporting a "thirstless" PC.
(Just an example of course. As far as I know there are no such areas; and likely because HC mode
is optional, and not standard gameplay.)
