Hi there,

Every time i try to speak to Ranger Grant he tells me that he's busy preparing for the presidential visit then he says "bye" in a radio voice and my only option in dialogue is to say "goodbye".

I cant complete the quest, I'm running xp and the fixes on the internet all seem to refer to the xbox "console mode" (whatever that is!!) where people are typing commands into the game like "enable" etc. I've seen this work on you tube for the Xbox, is there a way I can do this on PC or is there another fix?

just to point out, I have only done the NCR main quests so I'm not just being an idiot, having spent ages building an NCR char I'm pretty dismayed to find that its glitched!

I have received the warning that if i proceed further with yes man then the NCR wont speak to me, but from then on I stayed away from yes man and then started this quest. i am idolized by the NCR and have done all the other NCR quests i can find, is there something else I have to do??

I've tried waiting several days I'm not wearing legion clothes or anything dumb like that II hav'nt run the other questline with the legion at all and i have not progressed with "Yes Man"

can anyone help please??

If so have you saved the president? If so then return to whoever your working with. This may not help at all but thought I may post it anyway....do not know what you are trying to say. Where is Ranger Grant? Is he outside?

no, I haven't done any of those things. its a bug! Ranger Grant wont speak to me, other players have had the same problem if you type ranger grant bug into you tube you will see what i mean.

There is no console on the Xbox, it's for PC only.


Just to clarify, how far are you into the mission? Still inside the visitor center or outside? If you're inside you have to wait 24 hours and then talk to him, if outside you have to do those things, otherwise why would you want to talk to him if you haven't done anything?

THIS MAY HAVE A SPOILER that same thing happened to me but i think it was because he already died. yes man told me that ncr pres could be killed but there was no option for me to go save him. only options why i couldn t go to save him. so i think he dies at that moment. a couple fallout days later i found new to me options with the bos that were not there my last play through so i went back to hoover damn and then moore told me to help with the pres but i had already failed the quest but everyone acted like he was still coming but the dude was dead like 3 fallout days ago. very strange but this is what happens when there r like 6 endings but none of them r what u want even when u get a robot named yes man to take control of houses crap. check the quest in your pip boy if it is dull and not lit up like the other quests then kimbal is already dead. to advance the game just draw your weapon and ncr will only shoot u a few times then they realize he s dead. strange i know.
