HI! I know I posted this once but that was before I was done with the fail convo.
the dude I was asking for help was a complete retard (as you can see) but the intresting part is this:

At the bottom when I asked about DX11 the operator sait that is beeing worked on!!! Vague, I know but still!!!

2251959872: the game starts, shows me the Crytek Banner, then another Crytec banner, then the EA banner and then the entire PC freezes... I cant do anything and I am forced to disconnect the powercable to shut it down...

Samantha S.: Have you tried this? "I opened the DVD in explore mode, double clicked crysis2.exe in the bin32 folder and input my CD key. After that I copy pasted crysis2.exe from the bin32 folder on the DVD to the bin32 folder on my hard drive. I had to copy and replace because there was already a crysis2.exe there. After that it launched."

Agreed, the fact that Crytek has been ignoring the issue thus far, makes me a bit skeptical.

Crytek should have done that but instead they decided to hype up the game and promise us PC users some goodies (advantages over console dudes and dudettes). However the fact that a EA tech-support operator said that they might be working on it is still not a 100% confirmation.
They maybe looking at their options in DX11 since a DX11 implentation requires new shaders atc to utilize the extra power available.

That whole convo with Simon had me rolling.

This is exactly right. These people are working jobs and can't spend alot of time on each issue, or they get in trouble. She was telling you what you wanted to hear to get you 'off the line'. At least she was helpful in general. But honestly guys, stop hoping for this magic fix. 1) even if they patch it, they can only do so much since it wasn't designed for dx11 from the ground up. and 2) they removed it as a listed feature from both nvidias site and the cryengine 3 site. They want to sell this engine to other game companies. They want every feature listed and availble. Pulling it means something isn't working right. Don't hope for a magic dx11 patch. The game is good, pretty good looking, not as good as others, or crysis 1 in my opinion, but not bad. It is what it is, if you don't like it, that svcks. If you do, great, you have a good game
