How do we talk to Crytek?

Post » Sun Dec 13, 2009 1:32 pm

I have noticed that there have been quite a few posts asking the people at Crytek for responses, but hardly ever do I actually see a response.

Is there any forum based way that we can (semi)reliably talk with some people at Crytek? Even if it is just a 'no comment', it would make us (generally) happier knowing that there are Crytek employees regularly discussing our concerns.

We know you're really busy, trying to make an awesome game, and we appreciate that fact.

We're about, it's hard to find a response in the middle of a thread about "hey that trailer was cool" or something - threads with accurate titles talking about issues are far more likely to get our attention :)

@pizzathehutt.
If you take the time to get used to the site layout,you would have posted this in the feedback and support section, but then you would have found a thread called
gamesas.com - Suggested Improvements
threads such as this are a more than suitable place for airing your views, and getting a response.
Imagine if you had to do what these people have to do, i mean, where would you start, look at all the many and variouse threads with all the very imaginative ways of not quite asking or even what they want to know.
adding yet another thread is not really very helpfull, especially as you didnt exactly seem at least to need an answer, if however you have a question for Crytek, then i would suggest that you go to the thread in help and support and post there.
gamesas.com - Suggested Improvements
Im quite sure that the team would really appreciate a centralized point to go for questions and suggestions.

This. If you want Cryteks attention, the title is very important to grab their focus.

I had been looking around the site, and I couldn't find this; so this was a general topic discussion because I thought this 'feature' would already be here, so I was just asking everybody where I might find this thread.

No, I admittedly don't need answers, being content to wait until game launch, but I was just looking at the number of 'Crytek you svck cos you aren't responding' posts and was just hoping to politely inquire if there was somewhere where they could talk, because I certainly hadn't found anywhere.

@Cry-Tom
Yes, It is hard to see you sometimes :)
I'll look harder :)

For the old gamesas, the Crytek posts were always in a yellow font so you could easily find their responces. Hopefully once BBCode is put onto the website, the management team will do the same thing. Yellow does fit well with the theme after all. ;)

You don't contact Crytek.
They contact you.
