Would it be a good idea in the future to have recrutable mercs/soldiers to follow you?
These should not have auto-heal, and of course a limit must be imposed.

Perhaps to balance this extra help, we should further add difficulty to the Fallout series?

Yah i agree that the NCR radio is usefull.

But theres not much use for like a platoon of mercs or etc. Theres not many enemies that are worthy enough to have with that and in mass qaunties.

It would have been usefull in F3 or maybe in F4.

I don't want slaves just for carrying my stuff. I would like some place to fight them. Like a quest to convince Red Lucy to have human fighting. Get her to side with the Legion. Legion sets up a spy ring under the streets of New Vegas. They also use it as a place to get fresh slaves.

Would also be good to fill a slave with alot of C4 and have him walk into an NCR base :chaos:

Yeah I'm capable of carrying my stuff as well, and I like your idea of fights to the death... Maybe make good use of that empty arena after 3 macthes... pffft.

I never really found the ncr radio very usefull tbh, just about everytime I try to use it it always says im out of range.

Ugh, NCR radio. Has anyone else constantly gotten stupid supply drops that lead you on pointless treasure hunts that end in the realisation that the crate is ever unreachable ? (in my two attempts)

First try had me circling a mountain near Camp Forlorn Hope. Only after fighting through Cazadors and Fire Gekos leaving me near dead and with no supplies did I realise it was on some rocks I could never get too.

Second go I called for it in a nice open area with no mountains for a while. When I finally got to it it had been placed floating in the air, just beyond my reach ! Hah, nice one NCR, you win again.

Anyway, back on topic. I'd much rather Mercs for hire. Wouldn't mind gunning with the prospectors you meet in that basemant.

They would act as ''cheap'' companions, like early in the game, and as Canon fodders!
Imagine giving and yelling orders at them!

Yeah I think squad commanding should be among the new ideas to be included
