Improving weapon holstering

Post » Fri Jan 08, 2010 3:59 pm

Playing some New Vegas today and I was realizing something that has bothered me since FO3, is how your weapon floats on your back, or on your hip (Often several inches away from your body with some guns)
It would be great to see holsters on your hip and gun straps on your back, that is attached to your armor, this would really improve the visual edge on a future Fallout game.
On this subject I thought it would be even better if they allowed a primary and secondary weapon shown on your character at the same time, for example a laser or hunting rifle on your back and a laser pistol or a revolver on your hip.

Just thoughts of the future, thanks for your time.

That'd be cool. Also improve clipping issues so it doesn't lay in your armor.

What if you have 40 weapons on you?
What if your primary is a rifle and the secondary is a flamethrower?

No, I don't want visible holstering.
It would mean that they'd likely limit our weapon slots to 2 or 3.
I liked it in FO1/2/T but I do not want it in the newer games.
Here I like quick access to the vast amount of items I'm carrying.
