I have Fallout 3 Game Of The Year for a Play Station 3, and I am wondering why there is not any support. When I went to look at what version was installed, there was nothing listed except for a dash like this ( - ). After some research, I discovered that Fallout 3 GOTY does not install onto the hard drive of my Play Station 3. Instead it streams directly off of the Blu-Ray disk, thus making any future updates impossible. I have read that there are updates for the original version of Fallout 3, but not for the Game Of The Year edition. Why? Why would you at Bethesda do something like this. You have taken what could have been my all time favorite game and turned it into the most spectacular gaming failure I have ever seen. Are you trying to address this problem? Do you even acknowledge it? I have read that New Vegas is not supposed to have any of the problems that Fallout 3 GOTY has, such as my game completely freezing up, frame-rates that drop to less than 1, and game lag that leaves me enough time to smoke a cigarette, but what about now? Is there going to be a solution to Fallout 3 GOTY on the PS3 console? Or have I wasted $59.95 + tax? How do I get my game to install directly to the HDD so that I may install updates? Is there going to be a fix loaded onto New Vegas? If so, do I get a discount on New Vegas? I would like answers to these questions, I would like my Fallout 3 GOTY edition to work the way it works on Xbox 360 or PC, or I want my money back.
Because of the disappointment I have had with Fallout 3 GOTY, I have made a point NOT to purchase ANY game made by Bethesda. I have also told all of my friends and schoolmates who own a PS3 to do likewise. Many of them have also expressed their feelings toward Fallout 3 GOTY to me. None of them are favorable. I must say, you really, really hurt yourself on this one.
Again, I would like a solution to this problem, or I want my money back.
Thank you.
