Favorite Place to Live

It's to the south of Fairfax Ruins. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?act=findpost&pid=1

Ahh, Yes I used that on my very first playthrough before I knew I could live in megaton, and didn't even know what a tenpenny tower was. The good ole days. I liked it, it is a little out of the way though. Need to do quite a bit of walking to get to it. Unless you have more map markers mod

I admit I like the way that the Tenpenny suite looks especially with the extra storage space in the Vault Theme (it'd be better if you had an actual bathroom like the rest of the suites  ) but I prefer my Megaton neighbors. It's also easier to get out of town in Megaton and it's more centrally located. I haven't tried finding my own unofficial place, but I kinda like the big satellite dish places, especially the one the raiders are camped out in because of the underground tunnel between two of the dish towers - you could live in one and keep all your treasures in the other, keeping yourself between them and any slimy little thieves.

I live mainly in Casey's Garage. Lots of gun storage, and I decorated the place up with various tools, and even lured a few robots inside before shutting them down to make it look like an actual repair shop, I have Seargeant RL3 guard the door for me, and I can use the vault as my own personal panic room.

My evil character currently lives in Vault 101. If you do Trouble on the Homefront the evil way the vault will remain open. My good one lives in the Rivet City hotel room, which doesn't revert to unowned as long as you don't close the door.

I always close the door, and have never had a problem.

It takes 3 seconds. Personally, I think it's worth it. I wish they were friendly, though.

time for the right perk- they and so many more can be your friend! It's your choice....wooot!

Super-Duper Mart is a nice place to live. It's big but not too big, has plenty of storage, a Protectron who could serve a your security guard (as long as you have the Employee ID), and plenty of shelves to put stuff on.

That robot eventually turns on you, because it will ask for the ID a second time later on which you no longer have. It did that to me a while back.

“not too big” – jeez you have “big” taste.

Just kidding – the Sup Dup Mart is just about perfect.

One of the fun things I did with Super Duper Dart was trying to restock the shelves to make it look like the place was untouched after the war. I placed pre-war food, pre-war clothes, toys, electronics, tools, books, and near the pharmacy I put chems. It was really cool. :)
