Obsidian, you guys have taken a LOT of flack, but I gotta tell you, I'm still waiting.

What I mean is, I beat FO: NV 4 times, 4 different ways and put over 300 hours into the game. I got different experiences each time and have absolutely loved the game.

Since I finished playing, I've bought and played Fable 3. I played it once, and put it down. I have zero (0) interest in playing it again. In my opinion, it was a bad game. I didn't like it, and I didn't even experience the bugs others did.
I bought and played Dragon Age: 2. I don't know who said it, but, it was a good game, just not a good Dragon Age game. That's about how that went. It not only failed to meet expectations, but it failed to even come close to the prior game. The lack of impact in any of your choices just destroyed it for me.

So, I am waiting for Portal 2 now, and some DLC out of you guys. I'm dying for DLC out of your guys! I want to give you money so that I can play more FO: NV! Yes, I want bugs fixed, hell I can't even get "The Gang's All Here"... I imagine that's a bug. But overall it runs just fine on my Xbox 360, so I really just want to stop waiting. Also, a note, please don't make us wait that long for any details. It would have been great to have gotten an update or two between Feb 22 and now telling us, "Yes, we're still working on optimizing the game. Yes, we're building DLC too, but we want it all to run better, so we're not releasing that till the patch is complete. The patch is taking a while because it is very comprehensive. I'm just saying, there could be some folks who quit paying any attention, when no news was forthcoming. I was personally starting to wonder if you and Bethesda had just given up on New Vegas entirely.

The Honest Hearts DLC is done... so they have not given up. Now we play the waiting game.

they've announced that they didn't want to release the dlc until the game was patched and more stable which I commend although I've run out of games to play so I to am waiting for portal 2 and some dlc but I'm not going to fault them for improving the game in othr ways.

I thought I had made it apparent that I'd read today's update but apparently not. I had, thus the bit about giving us updates about optimizations, etc. I appreciate that they'd patch it first too. Just wish they'd kept us more actively informed.
