FO3 is unstable after 2.5year of release, so fatal that you are literally stuck in the game, your point?

A smart move, sure the DLC may come out as fast but mods certainly make up for that.

The cold winter has been bad on my crops.
Can't seem to afford a fancy Pee Cee.

Spoiler
Which means: I don't have the money to buy a PC and if I do save every little krona I have then I'll be able to get one in, oh, 1 year. >_<

Unless you are getting a new monitor, otherwise a basic gaming *PC* aint too expansive, and would certainly out last xbox, not to mention about *MODs*.

OP I don t know what you r playing on, but I have no problems on 360 or ps3 until around 8500kb of info r stored which is way in the game.

I got it the day it was out for 360 and I honestly had little to no problem until 8500kb of info, and that hasn t changed.

Played thru 90% of the game, as did my son, with NO problems. Now i am at level 35 (the max if you got the DLC). The game is guaranteed to freeze up within the first hour. You never know when it is going to freeze. Now tonight i started the game and it said something about a new download was found and would have to restart, any game progress would be lost. (something to that affect) and when it restarted i froze after taking one step! Rebooted the xbox, tried again, and same thing xbox froze immediately after first step! Going to have to say it's not "fixed" on my xbox. No idea what the game thought was a new download and had to restart for, but it seriously corrupted my last game save!

Fallout 3 was better, but Vegas is worth playing! It's just frustrating to try and play it!

I've had the game since day one

While there are quite a few graphical glitches (though most of the time so long as I clear my xbox's cache they don't happen often) there really aren't that many quest breaking bugs. I've also not experienced any game breaking bugs (though I know they are out there). So I guess I'm just lucky in that regard

I have played the game to an extreme extent (Though not recently, loaned to a friend and she fell in love with it, won't give it back), many many playthroughs, all-night marathons, exploring, hunting, all that jazz, the most i have ever gotten was 8 crashes, all before the patches, after the patches, the most i get in times of extreme hardware stress is a framerate drop. In my opinion, Fallout: New Vegas is, all in all, superior to Fallout 3.
