Crytek has abandoned the PC gamer. For the pursuit of money.

Crysis 2 looks no better on the PC compared to consoles. Sure, the PC version can support higher resolutions and extra AA, but most people would be hard-pressed to see the difference.

Are you telling me that some aging six year old graphics chip can do just as well as a top of the line graphics card of today? Please. This is nothing but lazy and sloppy coding, and development probably suffered because consoles had a "higher priority" during the development process.

You know, Crytek used to stand for something. They were the studio that gave PC gamers what we needed, what we wanted, out of our gaming experiences.

But, then Crytek grew greedy and decided to develop Crysis 2 for consoles in mind - because there was more money in the consoles to be made? Hmm? Why did they suddenly abandon their principles for the sake of money - chiefly, making sure that their games were developed for the PC gamer in mind? The lack of graphics options and "press start to begin" makes it clear that Crytek no longer cares about us.

I feel cheated out of my $60. Never again will get your grubby hands on my wallet, Crytek. Last game I will buy from this sorry excuse of a company.

We PC gamers need to band together and form a community studio to create games that will adhere to the conventions that PC gamers demand. Regardless of the money that could be realized from console development. Yes, we are demanding. But PC gaming is a posh enterprise, and we do not spend hundreds of dollars on hardware just to spend more amounts of money to run mediorce software.

Hater's gonna hate. This is all I see here over the last few days. I'm actually quite enjoying Crysis 2 and as it matures - it's been out what 2 days now? - it'll just get better.

I think I'm going to hold on to the assumption that this is a rushed placeholder for a few weeks. That doesn't justify the **** but what can we do, eh?

Businesses do business for money. I don't hate them for looking at other platforms. I'm just furious over not having adequate support for the platforms they choose to release on.

Get lost troll, Crytek hasn't abandoned PC community. They simply didn't finish Crysis 2. There's problems for PS3/360/PC alike. They can't immediately address all the problems. They just gave us developer commands consoles.....you THINK that would be proof enough that they still care, but no, idiots like you are too demanding.

This is what is confirmed to come for PC:

-DX11 through patches
-Sandbox Editor 3

Graphics are already customizable, through dev. console. It's just not incorporated to in-game menus. Multiplayer is messed up for all platforms alike, PS3 looks terrible, and 360 is getting framerate issues. The console versions are right now the WORST versions.

Also the PC version of Crysis 2 maxed out shows how much better it looks than the 360 version. I confirm this, major critics confirm this, most PC gamers confirm it and so on. What you said is false and not subjective. The game looks much better on PC and the difference is noticeable.

You do not represent the PC community and your "idea" will not happen. I know this for sure because you have ignorance, half the stuff you said is invalid and incorrect, and you're just a troll. Get lost. If you're not a fan, then go to a forum where you are a fan of the company.

I actually like Crysis 2. I don't think they "consolized" I think they just responded to the many pleas by people complaining that Crysis 1 didn't run on their computers. I guess I understand because I used to be one of those people who had to play Crysis on lowest settings with only 30 fps or so tops when it first came out. Now I've upgraded rigs since then and Crysis 1 runs fine and I beat both the original and Warhead twice, but I still haven't forgotten where I started, with a mediocre barely entry-level gaming PC that could hardly run most modern games of time at playable framerates.

Wow you are still posting?

All of your pre-release posts are laughable, and prove you have no idea what you are talking about. With your track record i believe you should just stop posting because nobody will take you seriously.
