Basiclly i've had PL for months but have never gone there since i tend to hoard as much stuff as i can and everytime i plan to go there i keep wondering if theres a way to store massive amounts of random stuff i tend to pick up so i don't have to travel back to the Wasteland every 10 minutes to unload spare gear.

Is there anywhere in Point Lookout where i can store stuff until i'm done with all the quests and collect all thats worth collecting? I heard something about a box on the Gambit that should be safe but want to know if thats true and which box it is so i don't store a bunch of stuff then find it gone when i return from tribal hunting.

I always use the footlocker you can find by the bed in the ferry and I've never lost anything.

Thanks for the quick response i knew i heard of a safe place i just could'nt find the thread that talked about it, hopefully it'll work since it was annoying enough when an enclave body i was carrying around as extra storage vanished with 5 full suits of armor and 3 laser rifles all of which were repaired as much as an 83 repair skill would allow.

Containers don't respawn in Fallout 3 so anything will do.

Not all containers are safe, items disappear in some over time.

In Kenny's Cave, use the Trunk at the foot of the bed (not next to the Dresser)
