AREA 51 rumors?

Post » Mon Mar 01, 2010 10:55 am

Where is Area 51 in the game? I hear keen rumors of such, but I'm unable to find it, I hear people saying that its there and like roving security guard patrols of 40 sentrybots move around, and inside there is all sorts of wacky stuff.

Could some one verify for me?

Some possible locations.

...

It's not in the game, at all. Some people want to see it in a DLC, but this probably isn't going to happen.

Also, where did you hear this crap?

Care to share an example? I haven't seen any graffiti or heard anyone mention "Area 51".

The boomers talk about it after passing a speech-check and paying 50 caps.

No, they talk about Area 2. Which is a completely different location.

And no such graffiti exists.

I did read it, and I don't remember the Boomers mentioning "Area 51". As DevenTarn and The Enclave have said, it's Area 2.

Regardless, if a person mentions a location, it doesn't automatically mean it's on the map somewhere (unless they give you a map marker).

Edit: Here we are http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Area_2

Nobody in the entire Fallout community appears to have experienced what you are talking about either, hence no mention of it on the article and not even a icon saying that it was mentioned in New Vegas at all.

But, after passing a speech check and paying 50 caps, they told me about area 51. and you gotta go to the women and she will tell you and you must HAVE the lady-killer perk.

I'm trying to track that far back through the forums, but I'm sure the op has made similar claims in the past about Fallout 3 including his work on a fantastic mod that he showed no evidence of.

edit: Got it. He made a thread about Bigfoot being in Fallout 3 and then when it was proven it wasn't in the game or even mentioned, he created a thread where he was making a mod for it, refused to even show his progress and then claimed his file had got corrupted.

Which character? Whats her name? And how will your story change when players on all three systems prove you wrong?

edit: And I apologise if I'm coming across as sarcastic. But you can't just make a claim and continue to make it after being p[roven wrong. Weren't you warned about that last time?

Its crap. No one has seen it or heard anything about this boomers knowing its location. I am sure by now someone would have figured it out. With all the people wanting Area 51. With all the people that go through everything with a find toothed comb. Also the Devs said Area 51 will not be in the game because its to far from Las Vegas. If we see it will be as a DLC.

Even if they said anything about Area 51 in-game, you wouldn't be able to get there. The game takes place in Nevada, Area 51 is in Roswell, New Mexico.

No, Area 51 is in Nevada about 80 miles north of Vegas.
