What would be the purpose of adding X-box friends who play Fallout 3? Just so you have a common interest?

Maybe to talk with each other in a party while playing.

I play on the 360 but I have been mostly playing on PC lately. If your looking to talk to some one while playing Fallout I can talk to you on my PC while your playing on the 360. I also plan to dust my 360 off some time soon.
