I think it would be nice if they Beefed up the Anti-Material Rifles Bolt-Action Speed cause it's the only downfall to the weapon of why I don't use it. Also I can't wait to use the Tesla Cannon seeing as I've never used it since Broken Steel in Fallout 3 because of the high ammo usage in New Vegas. Same goes for Pew-Pew. Can't Wait For The New Patch. Not sure what I'm more excited for the New Patch or the New DLC.

The lists been stickied on the top of the forums, at the top of the other general, for a good day and some now. Either way, pretty cool for those who haven't seen it.

They did say that ROF would be increased. Wouldn't that have to do with the bolt action?

Other than DLC's being released after the patch is out for all ports? Nope.
Should probably be moved to FNV General Discussion.

[Edit - it was moved.]

What I'm most interested in is probably the EW and Explosives tweaks.
Couldn't care less about the Guns tweaks really.
Maybe Pew-Pew, Tesla Cannon/Beaton and explosives will be worth using now.

It doesn't mention the crashing and bugs because it is about weapons, as in the title of the post.

He does occasionally, but he has important things to do, like the very stuff we are talking about.

finally my points in explosives weren't a waste as I was hoping they would fix them, most of the other tweaks look good now if only the patch and psn where up.

Now where's the bug fixes? I really don't care about the weapon tweaks as I don't use vanilla weapons anyways, but I do want some bugs patched!

Everything I just read makes me want to go back and play through NV all over again. Somewhat accurate automatic combat rifles? That Gun being more than just a [censored] maria, especially since it fires such a powerful round? The service rifle finally having its annoying, sluggish tendencies fixed? 5mm ammo being given automatic slight AP characteristics? (ammo w/ smaller diameters tend to fly a bit faster, and be a bit pointier, making them great for AP at close range) Lever actions finally being brought down to reasonable levels? Explosives finally actually doing some damage? Energy weapons that don't cost another mortgage for every shot? Patching of broken perks?

*HUGS*

Now to wait for it to reach consoles......

All around awesome, cool to hear That Gun is getting buffed up. And the hunting rifle getting its critical chance raised sounds good to, doesn't sound like there's anything not to like about this patch.

Seems like PS3 is always left till last. I refuse to buy the game for my xbox or pc till it's fixed. Or maybe never. They've just worked on the guns so far? I guess they have an extremely long list of things to fix. :sadvaultboy:

PS3 last? It says "Consoles", that being both Xbox and PS3, and i am not surprised if the Xbox gets it first, it is easier to get a patch to PC, because it was made on PC, it is not as easy to get it to consoles but the Xbox is more like a PC in hardware than the PS3, so it is understandable why the Xbox would get it first, the port to PS3 format would take a larger amount of time than the port to Xbox.

Time will tell to be honest. The console builds are fairly different as you state, and the validation process for the consoles are different. Along with their preferred release date. Also doesn't much help with PSN's current maintenance issues going on either. But I'd honestly doubt that'll come into play as I seriously doubt the plan is going to be to release the patch for the consoles this week as well. It'd be nice to be surprised, but I doubt it.
