RECALL THIS GAME...OR DON'T?

RECALL THIS GAME.
Heads should be rolling all over Bethesda over this NV complete fiasco. You are losing customers every single minute of the day.
Who in their right mind will purchase any product in the future from this group? The online community is ablaze with what has taken place with this game. If this was chicken the hospitals would be full and their would be a Nation wide recall.
I got my money back, full price because I made a scene at Best Buy. I made it clear that Best Buy can take my complaint up the food chain because without all of us, Bethesda and Best Buy are toast.
Stand up people.
Return this game.
DEMAND your money back.
Let the executives at Bethesda deal with the "fall out."

Uhm, might be worth clarifying what platform you played it on. I pre-ordered for PC, and the patch hit for Europeans like me on release day, which I think was three days after the North American release date. I haven't experienced a single game-breaking bug or glitch, nor a single CTD. What bugs I have encountered have been annoying at best, irritating at worst.

I had way more trouble with Fallout 3, but I think all the effort I put into making Fallout 3 work perfectly on my system (it's changed only slightly over the past year or so) really paid off for New Vegas's smooth ride. So yeah... if you're on a console and you experienced mad glitches and bugs and constant crashes you have every right to complain. There's no excuse for such shoddy QA on the console releases. From what I understand the PS3 version should never have seen the light of day. But if you're on PC, chances are really rather good something your end has ruined your day with Vegas. I'm not saying the game was perfect, only that it can be run without problems on a PC.

Hey your overreacting just be patient. It's not like your special or something, we all have to wait, it's a great game but impatient people like you have hissy fits because they don't have it now.

I'm a drama queen?
I am over-reacting?
I need to be patient?

Any business that wants to associate frustration and anger with their product should head over to Bethesda and study closely all the loopholes in their product management that resulted in this disaster being released on PS3 in the games current state.
I don't care if you are selling hot dogs on a corner, this is no way to do anything.
If this is your approach to business then you are heading off a cliff.

You just have to do the right thing Bethesda.
Let all the stores know that you will honer all returned games, no questions asked.
Or, don't, and let this landslide in your company's reputation continue....
I have personally told about 25-30 people not even consider buying this game.
How many people has each one of them told?

Why is this happening?
Because Bethesda pupmed out a botched, unplayable game and it made it to the shelves in stores.
Now they have to do the right thing and take their lemon back with sincere apologies to their customers
and learn from this huge mistake.

Or don't.
And we will watch you fly off that cliff.........

F:NV has some issues, but is far from the worst game I've played, and I don't think Bethesda or Obsidian owe me anything. I definitely got my money's worth out of it.

Also I don't think I've ever heard of a video game being "recalled". The closest thing I've ever seen is Stardock's response to Elemental's anemic launch, which is to promise the first expansion free to anybody who was an early adopter of the unfinished base game.

I am happily playing Fallout NV on PC, without problems.

I too look forward to Fallout 4.

Recalls only occur in the case of products that pose a risk of harm or death. Never happen going to happen with a game.

Issues are being fixed via patching. Just need to be paitient.

I'm on Pc. Only had the odd crash and suffered the occasional glitch, many of which have been fixed.

I also think by returning the game you should lose any right to demand anything of Bethesda/Obsidian.

JL5150 is right and Bethesda should take notice of this. The release of this game on the PS3 and Xbox360 platforms is nothing more than a real bad reputation for this game. The game is unplayable indeed, specially after you reach 8500KB or so it freezes every 5-10mins, even less depending where you are. I didn't get to the point of going back to GameStop and returning the game and get my money back or buy another game. But, like I said here before, Bethesda got my money but I won't ever buy their games nor recommend it to anyone of my buddies(exactly 43 on my psn list). For PC the game seems to work just fine, even better after a patch they got, but for PS3 and xbox this game is a REAL FIASCO!!!!!

I have the 360 version. The only glitches I've encountered are things like radscorpions stuck in the floor.

So, yeah. Not really a fiasco.

Some people have problems, some don't. If anyone has something specific to discuss, please post in the Hardware/Software forum for the game. Since you've returned the game, this is nothing more than a rant.
