Should I Start A New Game?

Post » Wed Mar 24, 2010 12:42 pm

My character is level 35, and ive just completed the battle of hoover dam for the third time. Im bored of this character.

Should i start again with a different character build and S.P.E.C.I.A.L? Or should i wait for honest hearts to come out?

Edit: Im thinking a hardcoe hard no companions game?

Thanks

I'd wait until Honest Hearts to give yourself a little break.

When it comes out your gunna be hyped and thats when you want to play :hubbahubba:

Maybe start a character, do a few quests, raise a few levels, so he's moderately prepared for Honest hearts.

Dead Money suggested for your courier to be at least level 20 before starting, it may suggest for you to have a somewhat experienced courier again.

I just started a new game too... recon I will be level 15 ish by the time Honest Hearts comes out. (although I have a high-level pre-Dam save just in case). Want to approach it fresh though, early in the game, before I've massacred the Legion (as I always seem to do)

Why are you bored? If your character's too powerful, try playing a concept character that is limited somehow in combat skills, armor, weapons. If you normally play with companions, play without one this time. Also, I've found hardcoe mode to more immersive so far; if you haven't tried it yet I recommend it.

If you're just tired of the game, give a rest and come back in a few months.

I don't know about you guys, but I have a RIPPED character on a save I'm keeping that's earlier in levels, but I've still had him get lots of weapons, the enclave armor, a high unarmed, the works. I suggest you go back on an earlier save, and make a ready character for HH. If your NEW character isn't ready by then, use that one.

you should wait to for the new patch to come before you make a new character.
I heard some where its better to make a new game when a patch is released but im not sure
