Weapon changes, what about the rest?

Besides the rather blatant news about the weapon balance tweaks, will the upcoming patch actually have something more worthy to talk about like engine code, streamlining, performance, GECK code, etc?

holy crap you are oblivious to reality, the extensive weapon balancing is actually secondary to the extensive work being put in to solve the root of most bugs, engine instability.

I second that heard ppl spew the same "weapons are secondary " crap but i have still to see any bug fixing or any of the like.

Look at the above link, the primary effort was fixing engine problems, the root of most problems people have, bug fixing, and then weapon balancing, [censored].

My interpretation of what the patch is about is "stability issues." Bug fixes (by this I'm assuming they mean quest bugs) are not the priority for this patch.

So what’s in that patch? First and foremost, optimizations and stability improvements. While there are bug fixes, our core focus was on improving stability and performance.

Engine instablility is the root of many of the games bugs and glitches.

I think they're focusing on crashes and stuff like that, which yes, would affect some quest crashes/glitches for some people. Not all of them tho, some have scripting issues and the like...but no point second guessing...we shall find out soon enough. :)

For the love of god, just fix the glitch with lever-action rifles getting the player (or companions) stuck and the glitch where the day of the week resets to sunday every time you close NV so we can have merchants updating their inventory properly.

I would prefer game-breaking bugs be fixed first over trivial merchant crap.
