Dead Wind Cavern Death Claws

What's a good way to clear out that last pocket of Death Claws? Get them to come through that channel and use some mines? I've been relying on my AMR too much and it's just not going to work for this situation.

send Lily and Ed-E in there. Lots of Rebound and some Cateye, and the Trail Carbine. Easy peasy :)

If you have Dead Money, I cleared them out with AP .308 rounds with an Automatic Rifle+. It's kind of funny how fast they fall. (oh and of course Psycho, Med-X, and Buffout)

I went in there with my uber god. ED E with weapons upgrade, Raul with 10mm sub. It killed me the first time. Second time I shot 1 missle from annabelle then pulled an LMG with armour piercers.

I killed it, but had 7hp left.

i walked in there at level 18 with my melee character and raul, long story short i made the deathclaws my [censored]es. Really easy well at least on normal all you need are the right melee perks and knock knock and its a walk in the park oh but i did bring like 15 stimpacks med x and phsyco for that legendary deathclaw but he still got owned for a guns charcter bring boone and by him a amr rifle and u should get a brush gun,or u can use a fatman and see what happens

Thanks for the input. I was leaning towards loading the passage with mines but I really don't have many. I like the tips. Sounds like a blast. Ha ha.

YCS/186 + Max Charge Cells + sneak crit = one dead legendary Deathclaw. As for the other, normal, Deathclaws, any gun'll do really. Last time I cleared them out I used the a hunting shotgun with slugs for the "little" ones, and a 10mm Pistol for the babies.

I'd probably say use the YCS/186 or a Grenade Machine gun, GM being the more fun of the bunch, something about raining explosive death that satisfies me.

I was level 6 when I cleared them all out with an Alien Blaster. Almost no energy weapons skill either LOL. If you feel cheap, just use that OP piece of crap.

This is exactly what I did.

Get ED-E for the sensors and intel, Lily will charge out in front like your personal bodyguard and a (in my case) Brush Gun is good damage. I'd also suggest Turbo.

if you have the wildwasteland perk you can get the alein blaster and turn them to ash easy peasy lemon squeezy
