Two UI questions

Post » Sat May 29, 2010 7:41 am

1. Can the UI and text (all text that appears on the screen, like load screen tips, quest status updates, dialogue, etc.) be made smaller? I found a "Texture" option in the Display options, but changing that didn't do anything, so I don't know what that did.

2. Is there a way to keep my water/food/sleep meters on the screen, or at least a quick way to check them and not have to manually navigate the Pipboy? Related to that, are there shortcut keys for getting around the Pipboy, or is it all clicking?

Thanks.

1) I presume you're using the PC version? Then yes, but not with the game's options. You simply have to download one of the mods that do that, like DarnUI.

2) Same as 1, except put "Primary Needs" instead of DarnUI. As for shortcuts, the answer is no unfortunately, all clicking. The interface hasn't really been given much thought for PC users.

Thanks. Didn't know there was a DarnUI for Fallout! I should have known though, since it was indispensable for Oblivion! :)
